To apply for a breeding, please:
1. Make sure that your mare is completely realistic. We will not approve unnatural mares. This includes colors that ARE natural, but not found in the specific breed.
2. Double check that the stallion of interest is available for breeding at this time.
3. Provide a link to your mare and the name of the stallion of interest in a note.
4. Await my approval.
5. If I approve you, please make sure that the resulting foal is completely realistic. This

Conformation: Remarkably like his sire, Lion's Way has a rounded silhouette: gentle curve to his back, smooth line from croup to dock to gaskin, lovely depth to his barrel. His shoulder is also nicely angled, if slightly too upright for conventional standards. He has good, short cannons and is already developing a thick stallion's crest.
Temperament: Pride and vanity define Lion's Way's personality. On the racetrack, he couldn't bear to be beaten, seeming to view it as a personal slight. Off the track, he loved to be brushed and bathed. He would run in mud despite all that, because of the inherent desire he seemed to possess to be better than everyone else, but after a muddy race his grooms were always prepared to scrub every molecule of clay from his coat lest he mope for days.

Breeding analysis: A linebreeder obviously came up with this one, as "return the sire to the best blood of his dam" appears to have been followed to the letter. Normally, so much Northern Dancer so close might cause alarm due to recent anecdotal evidence from horses such as Big Brown suggesting that ND carried genes for brittle bones and bad feet, but Sadler's Wells has always been a sturdy source of Dancer blood, so there likely isn't anything to worry about.

Build: Odie takes after his dam and brother Rumourhasit , being rather light and delicate in build, with an expressive face and long lean lines. It's fair to say he looks like a Thoroughbred with a LOT of Arabian influence - an influence made more pronounced by the El Diablo tendency to pass on dishy heads. He's a very athletic horse, capable of going great distances.
Temperament: Odie was an astounding racer. He never liked giving up and his desire to be first at everything. He is a jealous, snarky, possessive horse so don't ask him to share his space, feed or mares. He likes to fight his riders and handlers so anyone who wants to retrain or work him has to be strong and stubborn. We have not retrained him as he has just retired from racing.

Temperament: Not one to give up, he is known for his grit, and his sneaky come-from-sort-of-behind charges. On the track he is competitive and hard working. Off the track, he alternates between trying to boss every human and animal around, and begging for face rubs and carrots. He is remarkably charismatic, which helps him in his mission of world domination, rubs and forbidden snacks.

Temperament: Mischievous and plucky, used to be a little bit shy, but has mostly overcome it. Named for the creature who could "put a girdle around the world in 40 minutes" Robin lives up to his name, darting about the pasture at Oberon's heels.
